"So he plans on taking wookiee slaves. Can't say that's original, and they will fight back. They're not going to simply lie down for an invading force to put them to work. While I believe they will need help, I don't think they'll need the Jedi. Not yet, anyway. I still believe we should deploy on key worlds. In my mind, that makes the most tactical sense," Kaelyn calmly spoke. She was sure to receive another lecture, or possibly be disallowed to help until it got too late. Worst comes to worst, she'd be put on temple duty, probably as an instructor. She shuddered at the thought.
She stepped forward, tapping a few buttons on the archive computer, smirking as a display of core and mid-rim planets popped up. "Obviously Coruscant will need protection, as will other core worlds. It makes far more sense to prepare for the inevitable then attempt to stop something that won't matter in the long run. Forgive me, Master, I just can't see a better way." she further explained, taking a stray strand of hair and tucking it behind her ear.
Kaelyn was in for it now, she should have stopped while she was ahead instead of trying to go over Master Min's head. But she felt in her heart that she was right, yet she felt the Force tugging her elsewhere. But she couldn't concern herself with that, she preferred to stick in the here and the now. She sighed and stepped back, glancing over at Johma for a minute before hanging her head, awaiting the scolding.

"You would be right if the Core wasn't as defended as it is. A blockade surrounds Coruscant and the Republic forces run patrols throughout the Core. The war wil come here soon enough, but waiting for it is foolish. The Outer Rim and...the Mid Rim will be fuel for Spellca's war against the Core. If we allow him to enslave and conquer on the Rims, how do we fight him back when he knocks at the gate to the Core worlds?"
The Jedi looked at the young woman. "Jedi are the guardians of life and the keeper of the Republic. Kashyyyk is a Republic world and a race in grave danger. To suggest we let them fend for themselves against the Sith is...unthinkabe. Most Masters would punish their apprentices harshly for suggesting what you did...Temple duty or what not." He smirked.
The Jedi deactivated the holoprojector. "But, Miss Dantius, I rather not do that. Your nature of seeing things reminds me of a young...well, me. It took my master's unique way of seeing the world to make me understand the role of the Jedi. Perhaps, you should take an apprenticeship below me for a time...I can teach you all I know and maybe make it to Master sooner than you expected."
He then turned to Johma. He looked at the young man and saw a powerful Jedi general who may be one of many to lead the Republic out of the on-rushing darkness. "Well, general, you better prepare for battle. Once Republic scouts confirm a Sith movement towards Kashyyyk, we are deploying. I want you to lead the main assault."

Johma listened and watched in interest as Master Min suggested that Kaelyn let him taker her under his wing. That was a privilege most Jedi would take in an instant, and from the Jedi Master's known history, he could see the woman advancing incredible under his guidance. Then the Master turned to Johma, making his new status and mission ver clear. Naturally Johma's eyebrow went up.
"Not to defy that order Master Min, but I am hardly suited for a real command position. I am of course willing to go to the front lines for this attack, but I feel it would be wise to perhaps send me in under the command of someone with more strategic ability, particularly one that is experienced in working with Jedi." He said.
Johma was not one to have a lack of confidence in himself, but he knew his strengths and weaknesses. He was not trained in the ways of directing troops. He was a warrior, command was not in his skill set. Having him actually lead the attack with his inexperience in such a field could lead to the deaths of a lot of good people.

Kaelyn was instantly about to protest the masters decision, but quieted to respectfully allow him to finish. She had passed her trials, she was a Knight of the Jedi Order, what more could she possibly learn? Aside from her patience issues, nothing, at least that was her opinion. Her natural comeback was once again put on hold as Johma began speaking, though she may have just found her loop hole.
"I greatly appreciate your offer of further training, Master Min, but if he's unable to lead - perhaps you should allow me. I do have a mind for this sort of thing, combat is my speciality. It wouldn't be any trouble, in fact, it'd be a great learning experience. I'd be far more useful in the field!" she pleaded, "In fact, I could be accompanied by this fine Jedi! He could learn some leadership, and perhaps he could teach me in return. It's far more logical."
Kaelyn took a few deep breaths, standing next to Johma while flashing a grin at him. It made perfect sense to her anyhow, but then again, all she said made sense to her. She just didn't want to let her talents go to waste, especially not in a war situation. If running mere intervention missions was the will of the Council, she'd obey it, regardless of thinking she had a better tactical outlook. "What do you think?" Kaelyn anxiously questioned, her gaze shifting between Master Min and Johma.

As Kanta avoided a pair of Jedi Knights, he was forced to wait in the hallway, as one end was blocked by the two Knights, who were now speaking with one another and would likely see how strange he was acting, and if he was to exit the other side, the guards would recognize him as the guy who walked in a rough 20 seconds ago. Standing silently, motionless, he started to enhance his senses, trying to find out if anyone was nearby, and trying to locate him. Thankfully, it seemed that the Jedi had not noticed him at all, which left him clear to take off, as soon as the Knights dispersed. But, there was something else... Something interesting.
Nearby, Kanta could hear them, the discussions of the strength of the Jedi; the Council members, discussing the future of this upcoming war. They were clearly prepared, and thanks to what he could hear, he would have some important information to relay to the Emperor. As the head of the Council spoke, he started to point out the sectors that the Empire had begun to conquer. Kanta could tell this was leading to something, and that meant he would have to move fast, or risk his plan failing. But, the information he could gain from his snooping could be enough to win the first battle of the war, which would more than definitely be a blow to the Republic and the Jedi.
Kanta needed to weigh the victories of either choice; staying here could lead to the victory for the Empire, but it wasn't his mission, and getting the artifact for the Emperor could give Kanta some more headway in the eyes of the Emperor. The good of the many or the good of the few... Kanta made his choice, as he moved out of the hallway, as the Knights left their separate ways.
He would get the artifact fast, and get what information he could from the Council in the short time.

"Wait..." The Master looked up and saw an unfamilier Chiss. He spoke softly. "The both of you...one of you take left, other right. I sense no Force around him - he isn't suppose to be here."
The master stepped forward and jumped upward to the level where the Chiss stood. The Force was pulled from him. "You lost, traveler? Not many people sneak into a temple with one of those ysalamir lizards without a questionable motive."
The staff of the lightsaber pike was pointed outwards with the blade emitter pointing the intruder. "Whoever you are, we don't take kindly to intruders. The fact you got past Temple Security was skilled, and snuck past Jedi this far in. But you aren't getting through here - it will be three against one if you attempt to fight."

Johma listened to Kaelyn's idea with interest, it wasn't too bad an idea, though Johma would prefer the presence of an well-experienced military commander. Then Master Min called for silence. Johma followed the man's gaze and spotted a Chiss walking along. An odd sight in itself as they were rare in this part of the galaxy. The Jedi Master seemed to be leery f the man and directed Johma and Kaelyn to take up the sides.
Johma looked to Kaelyn and then darted off to the left, using the force to assist his jumps, he used small hops, pushing off supports to reach the next level and landed lightly. Seeing Master Min with his light saber pike at the ready, Johma drew his own weapon, the elegant curved hilt held in his left hand, though he kept in inactive. Min's mention of the Ysalamari was beyond question, Johma had just come from a meeting where the creatures were present, the empty spot in the force was unmistakable.
He decided to keep quite for the time being. He felt that Master Min had this well in hand. He and Kaeyln were backup. Still this person had been able to sneak into the temple, and that alone made him a person to be cautious around.

Well, this was a setback. As Kanta strode past the entrance of the chamber, hoping against hope to stay hidden, it seemed like the egg headed Jedi Master had spotted him. A swift leap, and Kanta was confronted by one, and surrounded by two others. The sound of three lightsabers whirring to life filled the area, as Kanta kept his face hidden from the Jedi addressing him.
"Three against one? Well, I think it would be smart for us to not get into a fight then." As he spoke, he continued to hold the Ysalamari, who was almost content with the happenings outside his cloaked resting place. "Because really, such a fight is simply unfair. I would be able to walk away with neigh but a scratch." Gripping his light saber close beneath his robe, he switched from passive aggressive, to battle ready, as he threw one arm out, hurling the brown robe behind him towards one of the Jedi Knights, as the Ysalamari was thrown at the face of the Jedi facing off against Kanta.
A sudden whir of a red lightsaber in the center of the Jedi Temple made Kanta feel empowered; this was something that hadn't happened for many years, and now that it was, Kanta knew he had the upperhand, despite being outnumbered and in the enemies territory.
Kanta pushed the egg headed Jedi back against the second Knight, officially giving him the perfect moment. It had required heavy concentration, and arduous strain, but Kanta pulled it off as three perfect copies of himself appeared around him; Doppelgängers. He set the three up to take on the Jedi trio, before Kanta made a quick escape, deeper into the Temple, and closer to the archives, avoiding many other confused and shocked Jedi as he did so, many of which did not believe that a Sith could have made it this far, and thought of it as some form of training.

The Jedi's weapon ignited with a yellow blade on the end of a pike. The yellow weapon whirled slicing the cloak but also killing the lizard within. The master apologized under his breath that an innocent life was lost to the Sith.
But, as the Force returned, the master was pushed towards the knight and surrounded by three Dopplegangers. "This Sith underestimates the power of the Force." The Master unleashed a Force Repulse and blasted the illusions against the walls and what not.
Min decapitated one and turned to the other two. "You two want to clean up the rest?"

It all was moving too fast, one moment Kaelyn was arguing her position, the next the trio had been cornering a Chiss, lightsabers at the ready. The Chiss was confronted by Master Min, Kaelyn worked her way off onto the right to make an attack when ready, the purple hue of her lightsaber illuminating her body. This was interesting, to say the least, and she was fairly excited at the prospect of battling here. Though at the same time, fighting here of all places would be seen as disrespectful.
Before she could further contemplate, the Chiss had made it's move; and she was utterly caught off guard by it. She watched as Master Min sliced through the enemies cloke, and almost jumped forward to attack the...the Sith? Here? The thought made her hesitate long enough for the Sith to pull off a technique, creating three Doppelgängers, something she had never seen done before. Somethign she trutly didn't believe was possible, but it had just occured in front of her.
With further hesitation, she was brought out of her disbelieving trance as Master Min called out to her and Johma, after he cut down one of the three Doppelgängers. She turned to face one that was coming toward her, bringing her lightsaber up in defense due to not knowing what to expect. "Go ahead, I'm fine here!" she yelled as she missed a slash. This was sure to be fun.

The Chiss certainly seemed to be more annoyed than worried that he had been revealed as an intruder. And after a rather cocky statement, the action began. Master Min took care of the robe and Ysalamiri. Johma had been ready to fight without the force as his ally, but that aspect of the battle was no longer a concern.
Master Min was flung back toward Johma who helped by providing a subtle force push of his own to help the Jedi keep his balance. Then there was a flash of a red light saber, driving in the final piece of evidence that this was a Sith that they were dealing with. Johma activated his own weapon, the clear blade coming to life, the hum and the visual effect of a heat ripple in the form of a blade where the only hint's it had been activated.
The doppelgangers were created and the Chiss took off. Min dispatched one doppelganger and Kaelyn faced off against the other. Johma stepped in swing his blade upward, causing the doppelganger to leap back. Catching the copy in a force grip and slammed the copy into a wall, making sure that it was out of combat long enough for the other copy to be dealt with.
Stretching out to the force, trying to get a sense of the Sith. It was easier to follow the confused reactions of the other Jedi in the temple. It didn't take long to get a sense of the Sith. "I'll go after him, Master Min I would suggest you alert the Council now. Jedi Kaelyn, I feel that these copies shouldn't pose much trouble to you." He said.
Taking off he moved almost like a wraith as he darted through the archives, intent on his target. A Sith invader in the temple he had come to view as a home away from home. That would be his target. Johma let his intent pour out from him. He didn't want the Chiss to feel any sense of real rest, it would be easier for him to mask his presence if he felt he had been able to shake off pursuit. Subtlety wouldn't be a factor in this.

Kanta barreled past a Jedi Padawan, who tried to be a hero, slashing at the moving Sith. Kanta dodged the poorly regulated attack, and in one fell swoop, decapitated the young Jedi, before continuing on his path. As he ran, the feeling of more and more Jedi beginning to chase him was now obvious; the murder of a Padawan would have killed off any chance he had of keeping his identity hidden. All Kanta could think was that it was time for him to deal some real damage. With a simple gesture of the arm, a powerful Force Destruction was unleashed, shattering one of the many pillars in the Temple.
Kanta took a dive to the left of the large hall, and rolled through the doorway, entering the immense hold of the intelligence of the Jedi; the Archives. The many Jedi amongst the towers of knowledge were confused at the sight of Kanta, but were fast to respond, whilst the non-Force sensitive beings (Made up primarily of Droids) started to run around in a panic, as the beginning of a large battle was readying to take place.
Kanta started to hurl loose objects at his foes, using his speed and stealth to hide from the Jedi long enough to scamper into the furthermost section of the Archives. This is where the most important items were held, from the simple Holocrons to the Gauntlet of Kressh. But, for now, neither of these items were his aim. He had a very different target. Before he ventured any further, he ensured the Jedi outside of the small room were still confused, as they began to check the places he could be hiding.
Kanta had surprised even himself today.

Master Min walked up to the dead Padawan and knelled before the corpse. He placed his hand over the cloth, as if weeping, yet to tears rolled down his face. That, you see, was impossible - his tear ducts cauterized shut by that lightsaber slash all those years before before. The old master removed his cloak and laid it over the body. He made a hand gesture and moved his hand around - the bulge in the cloak where the body was vanished. "Freedom...in the Force..."
Min stood up and flipped out his comlink. "Captain Odi, this is Master Min. A Sith Lord has gotten into the Archives, the death toll is at least one - most likely on the rise. Mobilize as much of your security units as possible. No time to reply." The Master slipped the comlink away and took the Padawan's weapon to keep it safe from a collector.
Min moved towards the Archives with his weapon ready in one hand and his other hand free but crackling with prepared Force Lightning. At the sight of the intruder, he would unleash his attack upon him.

Johma felt the first padawan that was struck down by the invader. His eyes narrowed at that event. The Temple was to be a safe haven for such students, and that had been shattered for now. The best that Johma could do was make sure to make the Sith regret it. The unleashing of the force that caused damage to the temple pillar was easily noticeable, apparently Johma's quarry was far past being subtle.
The Knight arrived in the direct aftermath of the hurled objects, but for now he ignored that, he had a lock on his prey which he refused to release. Before long he had the Dark Lord in his sights. "Getting to the end of the line Sith!." He called as he closed the gap, focusing a blast of pure force energy to the small of his quarry's back, hoping to send him hurtling into a wall, though he was fairly certain the best he would get would be to throw the man off course and allow the gap to be closed.

Spellca sat in his palace at Korriban. He was in a state of deep meditation when he felt a sudden pain on his spine. He then noticed he was sensing the battle his assassin was currently involved in. He authorized his assassin's little "mission" but felt that if it became too heated he was to retreat to the hideout of a swoop gang Spellca paid off for their spy work.
The Emperor cried out through the Force. "Darth Taruny, I don't need this much attention. If you have that blasted Darksaber in your grasp, continue on your way. Regardless, you have done enough to jeopardize my plans moving forward."
