Larani gave a chuckle and a warm smile at Min's comment. "Do not discredit yourself or the rest of the council Master Min. Johma has long ago learned to take the advice with those more experianced, but if you like I can speak with him. In any case it would be nice to talk with him at length. I've had almost no time to see him since he was appointed as watchman." She said, deciding to leave Johma's temperament out of the conversation as it had become accepted that it was not from a lack of self control.
A concerned look crossed Larani's face at what Min had to say. "Then I think I might wish to record some instructions for Johma to follow. There are some techniques he can train in to shield himself from Spellca that he can train in while spending time away from us. It will give him something to do and that should be enough for him to feel like he is accomplishing something." She said before her expression turned slightly more grim.
"As for Spellca, I feel that we should hold a council meeting over this situation. he man is clearly beyond what the Jedi and the Republic has face for a very long time. You have some personal insight that I think we all need to be able to learn from now." She said. Larani had heard little of SPellca and there were members in the order that needed to learn about the man and now was the time.

"Resistance is futile...it wasn't an attack against Johma. It was his own mind dueling with what it thought it may become - Spellca in that illusion may have been a precognition for something to become. The task that must be taken is arming Johma with what he could use to kill the Dark Lord if he has the chance to. We must teach Johma how to severe one's connection to the Force. By separating the Sith from the Force temporarily, Johma can get an upper hand and end the war."
Min was putting an ample amount of hope in Johma, Min was beginning to believe that Spellca tied his own hands by going after Johma. Min believed that if anyone would kill the Dark Lord, it would be Johma - fate assured it.
"Spellca's master used it as a punishment for Spellca, or so the Sith's holocron states. Spellca lost a key battle on Utapau during the last war. He was punished by losing the Force before a fierce torture session - the Master recounted that it was more of a torture for Spellca was to be separated from the Force than it was the torture itself." Min smirked.
"My Master, he used Sever Force...if I recall, he used it on a Force-Sensitive smuggler on Nelvaan. I never learned the technique myself. I will meditate tonight and try to reach my master in the Force."

Larani gave a slightly perplexed look. "If that wasn't an attack from Spellca, what you say suggests that Johma has faced one of the hardest challenges that a Jedi will face on their life path." She said with a contemplative tone in her voice. She remained silent on the comment about what Min planned Johma to learn, and the task of slaying Spellca.
"You are putting a fair amount of faith in Johma." She said softly. "While I have confidence in him. I don't know if he would be the one to strike down Spellca. Johma had progressed well and is a fine example of a Jedi knight, but even if hampered, I don't know if he could face down Spellca again without losing his life or falling to the Dark Side." She said. Most of her view stemmed from concern for Johma. She didn't like the idea of him anywhere near Spellca.
Giving a quick sigh she gave a smile. "Though he is sure to try and face him once more, and the best we can do is make sure that he is prepared as much as we can help him be." She added with a slight chuckle. She knew full well that Johma wouldn't let Spellca slip through his grasp if he could help it.
"You do realize that if he isn't ready, striking down Spellca as with many Sith, runs the severe risk of falling down the dark path?" She asked, wanting to make sure that things were clear.

"Johma will go after Spellca regardless...it is in his warrior blood to hunt down his enemies. Spellca let Johma survive in order to drive him mad like this."
The Jedi knew his fellow Council member worried for her former apprentice but Min wasn't blinded by teacher relationships with Johma to see what paths lie ahead.

"I'm not arguing that Master Min. My concern is if he goes after him while not prepeared. What I wonder is if he will learn what he need to know quickly enough." Larani replied. She knew above all others what Johma's likely course of action would be, particularly with the potential threat to his family. He was a person who honored his duty, but he wouldn't stand fora threat against his family.
"Caution is advisable as far as I am concerned. If Spellca if purposly doing this, then we need to be very careful about how we approach this situation."

"Spellca is a breathing Wound in the Force...the genocidal campaigns he has lead has created blood shed unseen in many, many years. We need to proceed with caution and rely on our bond with the Force. Johma may be our savior in time but we are all Jedi and we all have an obligation to live, fight and die to preserve life and those who fight for it."
The elder Jedi paused and sighed before starting again. "We possess the holocron of Spellca's master, Darth Xavor. Perhaps we should look it over for clues to the Spellca's intentions. Spellca has emulated his master so far in how he has handled himself." The Jedi thought about the secrets the holocrons may hold. "But at the same time, the holocron is a prized Sith artifact - I wouldn't be surprised if Spellca wishes to steal it back in time."

Larani gave a small shrug. "Be that as it may. I wouldn't recommend letting Johma overhear any of this. It may actually deter him from attempting anything. He's never been fond of being involved in anything major. He may put himself into a form of self-imposed exile where we cannot reach him." SHe said.
At hearing about the holocron, she gave a curious look. "If there is a chance that it is that important, it may be wise to actually assign a Jedi to watch over it. Unless you've already taken such an action." She said with a wry grin on her face, knowing that Min was likely to have done so, and if he hadn't, well it was certainly time to do so.

"I will guard the Holocron, you have your hands full taking care of Johma's condition. I was slightly damaged during the last attack on the temple, but our archive droids refurbished the artifact so it is the best condition." The Jedi thought about how dangerous Spellca would be if he was armed with his Master's knowledge.
The master decided to bring up another subject. "I hate to be the one to day this but..." Min struggled to speak. "...you have to mentally prepare yourself to let you if he falls to the Dark Side. A Sith is dangerous and we cannot let emotions keep us from fighting them - I have hope in Johma beyond all else, but we must prepare the chance of the darkest occurrence."
