Appearance: As a Chiss, his skin is a pale blue color, while his eyes are a layer of bright red. His hair is medium in length, flowing backward from the front of his head in a set of waves, which follow behind his ears and end in a messy sprout of hair at the back, which is normally tied into a small ponytail during missions.
His smooth skin is clean of boils or blemishes, and is instead ravaged with battle scars. Due to his training method consisting of actually performing real missions, he has been wounded more than once, and has the large spread of scar to prove it, from the basic blaster wound to the dreaded Jedi saber scar. His face has minimal scars and instead, is covered by a Sith tattoo, which stretches across the left side of his face, and spreads down to his left arm and most of his chest. Its style resembles that of thin lines, which simple spread out across his face, ending in pointed tips, much like Darth Mauls. The Sith mark clearly visible on his body is well hidden by his robes, which is a good thing; he is normally undercover, after all.
His robes are very well designed, yet still easy to blend in with. The under-layer has three parts, the torso, the legs, and the limbs. The torso is wrapped in a dark brown material, which resembles the basic undergarment of a Jedi or Sith robe. The addition of two small armored pauldrons give Kanta a more menacing look. A thick black belt is wrapped tightly around the lower portion of his torso, and the upper portion of his legs, much like all Sith and Jedi. His saber is held on the left side. His legs are not as tightly clothed as his torso is, instead having a light amount of access space in his lower clothes, which makes his pants looks slightly puffy around the knee area, where the boots come into play. These pants are a murky cream-brown color, and have a single strap wrapped around each one, dark black in color, both of which are used for decoration. His feet and arms are wrapped up in pieces of long fabric, which look like an older set of his current pants. The wrappings look worn and beaten, with numerous cuts and flayed edges. Thankfully, it has no effect on his combat.
His cloak is a long black one, which flows gently down his back, ending just below knee height, before rising up and revealing its lack of sleeves, before following over into a low hood, which covers much of Kantas face, and then separates at each shoulder, creating two different pieces which flow down either leg, and end a mere two inches higher than the back of his cloak. This cloak is held on by another belt, which is a mildly thin, leathery material, which wraps around his waist many times, before ending in a small black-silver lock, which resembles the emblem of the Chiss Ascendancy.
A small hook can be seen on the right of this belt, which holds the holster for his blaster.
The only notable accessories would be the lock, and a small pouch on his left hand, which is where he hides his cloaking device.
Personality: As an assassin, Kanta has learnt to keep himself distant form all and any other beings, mainly Sith soldiers. He prefers to work missions alone, and as such, prefers to be left alone at almost all times. He follows many of the laws of the Sith to the end, and will die by the word of the Emperor, but even in saying this, will normally use different methods in his missions and training than other Sith, commonly to the dismay of the Sith Order, who are attempting to stay hidden, at least for now.
He lacks any real respect for anyone outside the Order, and even then has little respect for those beneath him. Of course, there are a few above him who he has little care for, but he must show respect. He knows the tortures of the Sith.
History: To keep his family and home safe, Kanta has repressed all the memories of his past to the very annals of his mind, to ensure that if he is ever to be captured and questioned, if anything, his family will be safe. Because of this, most of his past is hidden or unknown, and the furthest thing he is ever willing to tell is that of his arrival on Coruscant, and his discovery of the Force.
At a young age, he fled from his planet for an unknown reason, and found his way to Coruscant, a hive mind for all races. He decided to get a job as a delivery boy, and realized that he was an extremely skillful pilot, both at the hands of a basic air car, and behind the wheel of the more advanced space crafts. Only after a few good months of work did he realize it wasn't his skill getting him saved from speeding craft, it was his mind. It was the Force appearing, and becoming his greatest tool. Eventually, he quit his job, and decided to visit the Jedi Temple nearby, and attempted to become a Force User. Sadly, he was shot down due to being far too old, and so he showed them his already minor grasp of the powers, but they still refused, and so he left the building and fled to the backwater area of the city, where he would slowly join in criminal activities and other illegal activities.
But the Grand Master sensed his anger and fear, and so decided to send out a single Jedi to hunt out Kanta and kill him, the risk of a powerful force user roaming Coruscant to dangerous. While the powerful Jedi hunted him, Kanta slowly started to traffic illegal edibles,
steal shipments of weapons and vehicles, and eventually, was set to join a gang in the nearby system. As he was preparing to leave a neat several months later, the Jedi, O'bowu Ganta had managed to locate his residence, and blew out the side wall, revealing all of Coruscant to the Kanta. The Jedi readied to slay Kanta, but he had been training secretly, and was able to hold off the Jedi for a good while, before using a powerful push to knock the Jedi back, and off the edge. Kanta ran to save him, and noticed the Jedi was clinging onto some scaffolding. In a split second, Kanta made the choice that would change his life. Grabbing the lightsaber, Kanta leant over the edge, and removed both the Jedis arms, sending him plummeting down into the streets below. With that, Kanta knew it was his time. fleeing his second home, Kanta joined up with the rebellious gang, and began an epic future.
His time in this gang was short lived, when the group found a 'broken down' start ship, and attempted to board it and kill its inhabitants to loot the entire ship for themselves. As the gang flooded out and split up, Kanta could already sense something powerful on the ship. As he followed his team of gangsters though a back alley of the ship, he suddenly felt it, a flood of power. There were Sith on this ship. And as soon as he realized, they appeared out of nowhere, and slaughtered the team in an instant, leaving Kanta to run back to another team, specifically the gang leaders. As he ran, he could hear the screams of his new friends being torn apart by the powers of the Force. By the time Kanta found the leader, his head was rolling across the floor of the ship. Kanta looked up, and saw a Sith Lord, dressed in a regal robe, and black armor. Before any of them could move, Kanta let out a powerful Force Push, and drew his saber from his side, ready to fight. The Sith all laughed, as their obvious commander hurled Kanta up against a wall, and dropped him ten feet, knocking him out.
When Kanta awoke, he was surprised to see himself inside a cage, in a huge facility, filled with Droids and soldiers. As he woke, he heard an armored soldier yelling to someone. The Sith Lord that had beaten him walked over, and smiled widely, taunting Kanta for thinking he could take on over a twenty Sith alone. After a while, his crate was transported to a new location, and he was set up in a metal chair, in a steel, lifeless room. As he sat there, confused, a voice came into his head. The voice sounded cynical, asking how his trip was, and if he wanted a drink. After a while, the voice asked what he was doing aboard a gangster ship. He said he was trying to escape the Jedi, and was suddenly overwhelmed with pain, as if he was being struck by lightning. Kanta went through this torture for days, being questioned, being interrogated, and eventually, being freed, by a new voice. The voice was yelling, saying why he had not been told of this force sensitive. Kanta claims he was freed by a high ranking Sith, who took him under his wing, and started to train him, in the arts of the Dark Side. Kanta learnt some of the most powerful and deadly moves this master knew, and eventually, was to join the training programs fit for his age. But instead, he intercepted a signal, and made his way out to do something he was not ready for; the assassination of a Jedi.
The mission would be to long to tell a story about, so Kanta simply says he was successful, and it was for this reason that he was allowed to continue to train in this method, no matter how many Sith frowned upon the idea. His formed master slowly started to grow further from him, until eventually, the Emperor gave Kanta a missions, after years of training. This mission is what would make him a Sith Lord, and it is what would separate him from the others his age; he was going to have to kill his master. Kanta skipped a beat as he said yes, and made his way to his masters bunker. It was a fair walk, but in the end, the prize would be worth it. As Kanta entered, he saw his old master, standing in a battle position, his saber in his hands. Apparently, he was going to have to dual the man that taught him everything. The dual went for a good hour, before eventually, Kanta got a good upper-hand by slicing off his masters ring finger, causing him to loose his hold of his saber, which was twisted away, leaving Kanta to deliver the finishing blow. His master nodded, and smiled, as Kanta drove his saber deep into his masters chest. At this point, Kanta had considered his master like a father, and as such, started to cry after killing him. This weakness would not go unnoticed. He needed to change. After reporting back, Kanta became a Sith Lord, and was given the name Darth Taruny. His promotion saw a new opportunity; more missions, which would be given legitimately. So, many more years passed, with Kanta continuing his spree of assassinations an missions, until eventually, he was given the choice. The Emperor said he could stay as a Sith Lord, retaining his ability to choose an apprentice one day, and his ability to control the mobile forces, or he could become an Assassin, where he would have to train newcomers, and would be given far deadlier, longer tasks. In an instant, Kanta chose the assassin rank, and so, he became the best. The deadliest. The Emperors Finest.
Now, Kanta is returning from a mission on Kashyyk, and is preparing for a new training session with the recruits.
RP Sample: A dark hooded figure stepped over a small piece of technology, resembling a simple box when inactive. Two small, brown robed creatures made strange noises angrily, their yellow eyes glaring at the shadow intensely. The man continued walking, swerving in-between bustling crowds, and accidently knocking into a man and causing him to trip. "Hey, watch were yer going hood!" The figure ignored, not even flinching, as he continued to walk on, his hands pushing people away, before he eventually caught sight of the Gran, wearing a fur rimmed jacket, and large boots. The figure suddenly sped up, simply pushing past people at this point before eventually stopping, as the Gran entered a small building, with a sign reading 'Chalmuns Cantina'. The shadowy figure stepped in through the stone hallway, and noticed the packed bar, with music playing in the background. The Gran was in here somewhere. But where...
The man moved up the bar, and ordered a drink, which he immediately handed over to the person next to him. Why? Because now that person would move. He looked around the bar, and noted no Gran wearing the same style jacket as his target. He must be sitting in a cubicle. The figure walked around the cantina, blending in nicely with the crowd. After a short while, he spotted the same colored fur, and then saw a Gran wearing the fur lined jacket. It was him. The figure smiled, and sat down nearby, while still keeping his eye on the alien. As he sat, a wide smile swept across his face, as he used his Force powers to spontaneously combust the Gran, which resulted in a flaming alien screaming, people and aliens moving away in fear, and the target retreating out of the cantina, and out into the way of a large vehicle, which quickly toppled him over, breaking his spine in two. A man walked over to the shadowy figure, and barked. "Eh, you got sumin ta do with this?!" The figure lowered its hood, and looked blandly up at the human. "Yes, that's why I'm sitting a good three meters away from where he was, drinking." The human chuckled, and walked away angrily.
The figure stepped outside, and leant over the coughing body of the Gran, and spoke to him. "You sir, are dead." The Gran spat out blood, as it gasped for air. "Who are you!?" The figure held out a hand, and spoke silently. "I am Kanta O'mur, Sith Assassin." The Gran coughed one last time, before the burns and bodily harm took the better of him, and his body couldn't handle it. He was dead. Kanta looked down at his side, and noticed a small blaster. It looked expensive. Killing targets with a blaster would probably make the Jedi worry less about Sith...
Kanta made his way of that wretched hive of scum and villainy. He knew he should have been cautious, but then again, he's a Sith. He is an Assassin. He is Kanto O'mur, and he never losses a target.
